“Ever since starting the InnerFit journey this year, it has made a huge difference to this child’s behaviour.”
"My name is Tayla Faaofo. I am a Year 4/5 teacher at Weymouth Primary School. Since my first year of the InnerFit programme, I’ve found it really helpful for my students. We’ve focused on the Managing Emotions units and a lot on kindness.”
“I spend more time teaching and less time worrying about issues.”

Joyce Joseph teaches a Year 2 class at Weymouth Primary School. She says the InnerFit resources have been a wonderful addition to her teaching, which has impacted both her students and her teaching practice.
“InnerFit kids resource supported the teachers’ programmes, and I think the reason that this is important is that they own it and they are able to deliver it with confidence, rather than just picking up a lesson in isolation.”
“We chose to go with InnerFit Kids because first of all, we knew their reputation. I had worked with InnerFit previously. Sue and Ken and the team were just outstanding and so we knew that the people inside the organisation were great,” says Phil.
“I want to have numerate, literate and articulate kids that are going to go out there and make a worthwhile contribution to the community.”
“For me, I find the whole philosophy behind the InnerFit programme great.
“Because they're actually linking it to a context, they have a better understanding of what positive attitude is, what being a winner is and having a go.”
Adrienne Mawer, Principal of Birkdale Primary, highlighted the link to real-life contexts as being a key in helping students at her school being motivated to give things a go.
“It’s great to walk around the school and hear things from the kids, like being ‘Better than Before’ and discussing what kindness means.”
Amy McLaughlin is a Year 5/6 teacher at Weymouth Primary, where she has been using the InnerFit resources over the last two years.
Principal Nolian Andrew says she loves having the InnerFit kids resources being used in our school.
“No school is going to get their values right all of the time nor is every child using the values all of the time, so the programme is just a fun way to encourage them. It’s kind of ‘snappy’ and easy to remember.”
